World Tourism Day, Themes And Tourism in India

World Tourism Day is celebrated on 27th September every year. In 1970, the day when the Statutes of the UNWTO were adopted  that date was chosen as World Tourism Day.  World Tourism Day is celebrated to raise awareness all over the world on the role of tourism how it affects economic, political, cultural and social values worldwide. Every year a theme is announced which shows people a way on which stress should be laid.
