The World health day is celebrated on 7th April every year and also best known as a global health awareness day. One should have brief knowledge about World Health Day History . It is established by the World Health Organization (WHO). The first World health Day is celebrated in 1948, held by WHO and in 1950, the assembly and all the enlisted people decided to celebrate World health day on 7 April of each year.

Various programes are organized in schools, universities and hospitals to celebrate this day by the WHO Organization. This World Health day is associated to mark WHO’s founding, and also seen as a great opportunity by the organization to draw worldwide attention. The main focus of this organization is to a subject of major importance to global health each year.

This day is acknowledged by various governments and non-governmental organizations with interests in public health issues and also organizes many activities and also termed on the Global Health Council.

There are other various days that are celebrated and held by WHO organization that includes with World Tuberculosis Day, World Immunization Week, World Malaria Day, World No Tobacco Day, World AIDS Day, World Blood Donor Day, and World Hepatitis Day and the WORLD HEALTH DAY is one of these eight global health campaigns.
