Good morning to everyone. Today, it is the second Saturday of September that is celebrated as World first-aid day. On behalf of the head of first aid society, I want to aware you about the first aid kit.
If we see around ourselves, we find that there are lakhs of people who get hurt or killed due to the injuries every year. The number of people is growing largely due to proper lack of the timely antidote. Immediate action and the proper techniques applying can reduce the death rate and the injuries effect.
Learning first aid is easy, fun and can be the difference between the life and death of your loved one or a stranger. It will take just 3 to 6 hours or maximum one day to learn this course which helps you for your whole life. This day was first celebrated by The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in 2000 on the favour of helping wounded people and treat the injuries that lead to the drop in pain and free them from it.
The main purpose of the World First Aid day is to awake the society and teach them that how First Aid can save the lives. There are only 10% of the people who are skilful in using first aid kit. Rest of others are needed to give proper training about the value of First aid kit. Accidentally injuries are the foremost cause of death for many people especially between the ages of 15 and 44. The proper knowledge of handling first aid on the victims in an emergency situation can save the lives and lower the effect of injury, and the awareness also helps to prevent injuries on the spot.
The recent data shows by the Red Cross spoke that only a few injured people could apply a first aid kit on themselves. It reveals that out of 40% injured people, only 15-18% are aware of first aid kit. You can see the difference between the victims and the remedies which are a serious matter that has to sort out. It is the first-aid Day on which the Red Cross is gathering all the people to assure them that they should have the proper expertise that needs to save lives on any emergency happens.
Although First aid cannot substitute the emergency service, it is the primary action for implementing an urgent and speedy action that helps in reducing the pain and further any serious cause. By applying First Aid The chances of survival is increased. First aid may help in blockage of allergies and protect from harmful germs.
