World environment day 2014 just passed with theme “Small Islands and Climate Change” and World environment day 2014 slogan is “Raise Your Voice Not The Sea Level“. Various organisations took part in World environment day 2014.
Now world environment day 2015 is coming with theme “Sustainable consumption and production” and world environment day 2015 slogan is “Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care”
On this day world environment day 2015 / 2014 / etc new trees are planted by schools/colleges/individuals/government etc. Various steps are taken to make people aware of the deteriorating environment and various actions are taken to make environment free from pollution. For eg. Various steps are being taken to control the emission carbon dioxide . Carbon Dioxide leads to green house effect which raises the temp of earth resulting in the melting to glaciers. Due to this the sea level is increasing day by day which is very dangerous for mankind.
