The immense active involvement of the countries across the length and breadth of the globe has created such a unanimous thought process amongst people where it has gone beyond the symbolic gesture of turning off the lights. After all, the people centric movement has proven to be a motivation to make collective use of the united power for ensuring a practical action.

Hence, Earth Hour has proven to be a united movement which welcomes people to come and be a part of the same.

The Mission of Earth Hour

In 2007, people were motivated to switch off their lights and the aim was to create a unanimous feeling of how climate change has adversely affected our planet. Still, more than a decade has passed, the crisis has only worsened due to loss of biodiversity and nature. There is a dire need to take collective action due to threat which is looming large, henceforth.

Our future is heavily dependent and focused on natural systems which define our base in the times to come. However, the unfortunate part remains where the global loss of nature in the last five decades has certainly been shocking to the core. We are directly associated and dependent on nature as it provides clean air, water, food along with other services which are valued more than US$125 trillion a year. So, as a collective force, we have no other option, than to put a stiff force towards bringing cost effective and instant solutions to the ongoing and prevailing climate crisis.

Earth Hour has rightly sparked the need to be more sensitized and initiate conversation on global level so that nature can be protected.

Let’s collectively take action and be a part of this iconic movement which also symbolizes a ray of hope that things will find a pleasant change in future. Yes, this symbolic movement is a show of how united we are in times and this collective force towards bettering nature will certainly yield positive change in the times to come. Since, we have been brought towards showcasing optimism and celebrating Earth Hour is a step ahead towards doing our duty as responsible dwellers of this beautiful planet. Hence, there is a need to counter the effects of the climate crisis in a world where everyone wants the future to be bright for generations to come in terms of prosperity where we live with happiness.
