what child labour actually means?
Child labour is that employment of child/children in an industry or business which is illegal or considered exploitative.
According to International Labour Organization data (united nations body), hundreds of millions of girls and boys throughout the world are involved in work that deprives them from receiving adequate education, health, freedom and basic necessities. More than one half of these children are involved in worse kind of labour. These worst forms of child labour include work in hazardous environments, slavery, forced labour, drug trafficking, prostitution, etc.
On this World Day Against Child Labour, let’s join forces & hands to end child labour all over the world and give them new freedom and new environment specially in areas affected by conflict and disaster.
