United Nations Public Service Day is celebrated every year on 23rd of June. With the resolution 57/277, The UN Public Service Day came into existence just to commemorate the public service values and its virtue. Typically, this day is celebrated every year to commemorate the work done by the public servants throughout the whole year.
Also, the day calls for motivation to boost the confidence of the youth who must seek their career in the public sector. The lectures and speeches delivered on the day enlighten the young people with courage to give their best in various sectors.
Actually, this day has the main motive to distribute the awards among people. On the very first award ceremony held in 2003, the United Nations could not get too much attention of the people, but it has been increasing with the succession in years.
