Teachers Day History : Teaching is the most influential job in the world. Teachers are known to shape the mind of youth and every one knows without knowledge no one can exist in this world. Almost every country celebrates Teacher’s Day in their own way. In India, the Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th of September and this tradition started from 1962. This is the when Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was India’s first vice president and second president. He was a great scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna recipient. Since 1962 – the year he became president – India has commemorated Dr Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary as Teachers Day by paying tribute to its teachers and gurus on this remarkable day. One must try to have a look of the great work of this exemplary person on this remarkable teachers day.

As we are talking about personalities who are persons of knowledge and encouraged Education than i personally don’t want to miss the chance of naming some of the deserving personalities like Dr. B.R Ambedkar , Dr A P J Abdul kalam and Sawitari bai phulle. I salute them too for making this nation a better place to live.
