Midsummer Day Activities and Celebration
Being recognized as a major part of summer solstice, Midsummer’s day is celebrated across the whole globe on 24th June of every year. Typically, the celebrations of the day occur on arrival of survival.
Though actual ways to celebrate the day vary according to customs and traditions of people yet the reason always remains the same. The most of people celebrate the day by getting involved in various activities some of which are as follows.
- Generally, people from northern hemisphere prefer to celebrate the evening by sitting against the bonfire. All the near and dear ones sit together to embed stars on the celebrations of the day.

- The people of Estonia love to jump over and take rounds of the bonfire as this activity brings amusement for them. It is believed that this process endows their families with blessings and serve them with luck.

- Next, comes the people of Denmark, they play “We love our country” songs to make merry in the celebrations of this Midsummer day.
- In other parts of the world, people prefer following their own trends according to their way of living.
