We all have entered this day only because of the great freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and various more. We can never forget the sacrifice they did for our country. Jai Hind!

15 August Anchoring Script for Students English 2022

I wish a very good morning to honorable chief guest of the day, all my respected Teachers, Parents, friends and school mates. Today i am feeling very lucky and thankful that I am given a chance to give a speech on this Independence Day in front of you all. Today we have gathered to celebrate Independence day in India which is annually celebrated on 15 August every year. We all know that this day is a proud movement for every citizen. Independence day celebration gives me a sense/feeling of immense joy which is indescribable in words when I see our tricolour national flag soaring in the wind high up.

British colonial rule began when the East India Company arrived in India. History of slave India reveals everything that how our ancestors and forefathers had worked hard and suffered all the brutal behavior of Britishers. Our whole journey till independence took sacrifices of lives of many freedom fighters and several decades of struggle. It was indeed a big moment for all the Indians when somewhat between 14th and 15th August the treaty of Indian sovereignty was signed. This was the time when George VI was ruling as the king in Britain and Clement Attlee was their prime minister. In India Jawaharlal Nehru became the first prime minister of independent India.

This is the day when we got freedom from shackles the British Rule after many years of struggle by the great freedom fighters of India. This is the day which is dedicated to our great leaders who have sacrificed their lives in getting freedom. Some of the great freedom fighters of India are Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Dr. B R Ambedkar ji,  Mahatma Gandhiji, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpath Ray, Bhagat Singh, Khudi Ram Bose and Chandra Sekhar Azad.

After independence we got our all the fundamental rights in our own Nation (India/Bharat). These rights are due to great person Dr B R Ambedkar’s immense hard work and we are proud that India has the best constitution in the whole world. We all should feel proud to be an Indian and admire our fortune that we took birth on the land of an Independent India.

Today we have freedom in almost all fields such as education, sports, transportation, business, farming, etc just because of the years of struggle of our forefathers. Earlier, people were not so free even they were restricted to have rights on their own body, mind and many more. People were not allowed to get education, eat healthy food and live normal life like others have. Indian Citizens were slave of Britishers and forced to follow all the orders of them. Today we are free to do anything just because of the great Indian leaders who struggled hard for many years. We can never forget the freedom fighters (Bhagat Singh, Khudi Ram Bose Chandra Sekhar Azad and other known) who had lost their lives in their early age just for fighting for their country India. Most prominent personalities who chiefly contributed towards gaining independence and social rights to every citizen was Mahatma Gandhi (Bapu) and Dr. B R Ambedkar (Baba Saheb).

Now, after many years of independence our country (India) is on the right track of development. Now India is developing very fast in every field like technology, education, sports, finance and various other fields which were almost impossible before freedom. India is one of the richest in nuclear power. Now our country (India) is actively participating in the sports like Olympics, Commonwealth games, Asian games, etc. Now India is a well established democratic country all over the world and we have full rights to chose our government and enjoy largest democracy in the world.

On this day India’s tricolor flag was unfolded by the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, at the Red Fort, Delhi. After the flag hoisting by prime minister in New Delhi at Rajpath national anthem is sung. Along with this a salute through 21 guns firing and showering of flowers through helicopter is given to the national flag.

This movement is celebrated same to same in schools, offices, hospitals, universities and society. Some students participate in dance , some students participate in singing and some in other activities. After  independence day function prize distribution takes place.

We should feel proud to be an Indian and try our best to be best citizen. If we stay united and honest no doubt this will be best nation in the world. On this momentous day we should  take an oath of being highly responsible, Honest and well-educated citizens of the tomorrow India.

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.

I wish a very Good Morning to all of you.

Today is a day which is actually a festival for every Indian. I am thankful to my teachers for selecting me as an anchor for today’s special moment. Happy Independence Day to you all. We are relieved from that crucial period where people were not given food to eat, where people wanted to get educated but were unable to. Even those were the times when people had to sleep hungry because Britishers used to haunt them a lot. A total mess was there. But thankfully we have had our brave freedom fighters to take a stand for our country where they had to lost their precious lives. We will always keep them in our hearts. They are the true superheroes. One round of applause for them.

Thank You!

Independence Day Anchoring Script for College

Good Morning respected Guest of the day, teachers and my school fellows. I am grateful to my teachers who gave me a chance to speak on this special day in front of you all. Today, I am here to celebrate Independence Day with you all by hoisting the flag, flying the kites and of course remembering the sacrifices by the freedom fighters of our country. It was indeed a toughest day in the history that we cannot imagine. The Britishers used to rule our country, people, and even it was so painful for people to survive in that atmosphere. The independence we got in 1947 solved a lot
many issues yet various problems are still there which we have to get free from. It is a day of pride but we also have to make our country prouder when we will get rid of much more serious issues we are facing now.

Happy Independence Day to all.

Jai Hind!
