YOU MUST KNOW (GENERAL KNOWLEDGE) PART 10
Hello students/everyone , Almost every exam contains one general awareness/general knowledge section. Maximum students are afraid of this section. General knowledge/general awareness has no end, but to improve it we have to start it from a scratch Like previous ones, i have written some points (General Knowledge/General Awareness) which will help you a lot in cracking various exams for eg:- SSC, FCI, PO,CLERK , UPSC , IAS , STATE EXAMS AND MANY MORE. These points (general knowledge for competition) are very important as per exam point of view. For any special request feel free to contact us.
It will take maximum 10 minutes to have a look on it (general knowledge/general awareness for competition). Any questions and inquiries (General Knowledge/General Awareness) most welcome feel free to contact us.
YOU MUST KNOW (GENERAL KNOWLEDGE) PART 10
- Below 60 KM oxygen occurs in the from of water vapour.
- The earth’s early atmosphere had a high temperature because of high amount of carbon dioxide.
- Non-hygroscopic are those particles which do not readily absorb or retain moisture.
- Methane is not a green house gas.
- Nitrogen in the atmosphere can be fixed by Cosmic radiation, meteor trails, lightning.
- Weather phenomena is confined in troposphere layer of the atmosphere.
- The formation of ozone layer in the atmosphere is because of absorption of of ultra violet radiation by oxygen , large number of photo-chemical reactions , dissociation of oxygen.
- The formation of sedimentary rocks results withdraw nitrogen from the system.
- The main mass of hygroscopic particles are composed of sea salts.
- The average amount of water vapour present in the parcel of air tends to decrease with increasing elevation & latitude.
- Ionosphere is the atmospheric layer which reflects radio waves.
- The noctilutent clouds found in the mesosphere is due to meteoric dust particles which act as condensation nuclei for high level convection that transports the water vapour upwards.
- The lapse rate of atmosphere is 6.5°C for every 1 km.
- The hydrogen layer in the atmosphere begins at a height of 3540 KM.
- The troposphere contains about 75% of the total gaseous mass of the atmosphere.
- The Van Allen Radiation belts are belts of ionised particles.
- The lower portion of the thermosphere is composed mainly of Oxygen and Nitrogen in molecular form.
- Airglow is produced by reactions between atoms and molecules of nitrogen, sodium, hydrogen & oxygen that have been excited by solar radiations.
