AGE LIMIT:- Candidates applying for the post (Senior Residents) should not be more than 36 year of age.  (36 for OBC, 38 for SC candidates)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :- MD (Anaesthesia)

HOW TO APPLY:- Eligible candidates can submit their applications along with their bio-data and attested copies of relevant certificates in the office of the undersigned latest by 20th May 2013.

MODE OF SELECTION:- INTERVIEW

The interview will be held on 21st May 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned at 4th floor (‘A’ Block), Nehru Hospital, PGI, Chandigarh.

ABOUT PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research):-

 The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh was established in 1960 and inaugurated by Prime Minister Pt.Jawahar Lal Nehru on 7th July 1963. It is designed to teach teach students in postgraduate medical education in as many branches as possible and attempt to produce specialists in several disciplines of medicine.  Intensive research in the field of health is done broadly by PGIMER.

 Director of PGIMER is “Dr. Yogesh Chawla ” who did his M.B.B.S and M.D. (Medicine) from Jabalpur University, Madhya Pradesh. ” Dr. Yogesh Chawla ” further done his D.M. (Gastroenterology) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Initially he joined as a Lecturer in Hepatology in October 1983 at PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research). From here he rose to become Head, Department of Hepatology in November, 1995 and then rose to Professor and  Head in December, 1999.  Finally “Dr. Yogesh Chawla ” joined as the Director of the Institute on 7th October, 2011.
