Source :- Vitamin A source are egg,milk,carrot,papaya,butter. Carrot contain caritine which helps in making retinol.

Function:- It is important for making pigments in rod cells in eyes(Helps in synthesis of rhodpsin which is found in rod cells of retina)

Deficiency:- Vitamin A deficiency leads to night blindness. Dim light vision is affected. In bright light Rhodoposin will bleed in components like retinol, etc. Vitamin A deficiency leads to Xerophthalmia (eye surface becomes dry).
